Another week
In an attempt tp photo document my life, earlier this year I started carrying around a canon ixus any time I left my house. Yes! I am Jen's gear twin! Why would I want a photographic diary of my daily life?
I have a terrible memory.
I don't really keep a journal.
Self-justification for getting a sleek new camera.
This thing is smaller than my cell phone.
It was a good way to fill my hard drive.
While I predicted daily photo randomness on Lunamania, I realized no one wants to see that crap. If you think this spares you the gentle reader from such crap, you are wrong. Here are some picture tidbits from this week.
The Lamest Candidate for Governor
Located across the street from Portsmouth Square, the Hilton's stupid ass Bridge Bar where they play annoying live music every week, and in the heart of Chinatown, my office is subject to alarming levels of noise pollution and pigeons. As I was trying to be a good worker bee, my aural space as invaded by the Chinatown caucaphony that ranks second only to Old Guy Hawking Up a Baseball Size Loogie in annoying factor--Lion Dancers. That shit just goes on and on and on. Anyhoo, after resigning myself to five or so minutes of ear assault, I hear "hey! wanna see the soon to be late candidate for governor?" My collegue beckons me to the fire escape. I peer out and see the very lame Phil Angiledes. Joined by his Mandarin speaking daughter (don't ask), he was sadly going through the motions of his death march to election day. Nothing more pitiful than a candidate who has no chance of prevailing. I realize I'm taing out my bitterness at 4 more Ahhhnold years on this guy, but still, he has zero charisma. From the looks of this crowd, seems like he wasn't inspiring the Portsmouth Square die hards.
Happy Halloween
I braced myself for the shoppers at the new Westfield Mall in San Francisco. Long story, but anyway, I walked out to standstill traffic and found myself in the midst of Halloween Critical Mass. It was a huge costume party on two wheels.
