Travel pics

As you know, Joannie and I were in Tokyo for a few weeks and in Seoul with Elaine for a way short 4 days. I had a great time hanging with my grandma (who turned 84 last year), spending time with my folks, and seeing with my brother who re-located to Tokyo last year.

We rendez-vouzed with Elaine in Seoul and toasted 2007 with loads of good eats, wearing newly acquired wooly hats from the ubiquitous street vendors in Seoul, and in good natured drunkedness brought on by fried chicken and beer. You may ask, “what were they doing eating fried chicken in Korea?” Don’t sleep. Seoul has some of the best fried chicken ever. I definitely want to go back. My goal when I visit again is to be brave enough to say things beyond, where is the bathroom? and thank you!

As a result of our travels, I am spectacularly jet lagged. We returned on Saturday and I only saw daylight on Monday afternoon. It is now past 4:30 AM Wednesday , but hey, it’s all good.

I’ve posted some pictures so click on the links below. If you’re on a relatively small screen/laptop, you’ll have to scroll down a tad for the peanut gallery narrative.

Hope 2007 is treating you well! Holler on the cell, drop me an email, or even better come visit us and the 3 animaux. A furry home awaits each and every one of you…
